Ridhi Patel: My name is Ridhi Patel and personally I am not blue or red. I am in between. By taking the quiz, my results said that I am a "young outsider". I agree and disagree with both parties depending on the topic. I recently have turned 18 so I voted in the 2016 election and it was an interesting experience. I'm taking this class not only because it's a requirement, but also because I would like to increase my knowledge on Texas and local government. I feel as if I don't know as much as I should. I hope after this class is finished, I have understood how the Texas and local government operate. In addition, I did fairly well on both quizzes. For the general quiz, I knew most of it, but some things I did not most likely because I am not from Texas.
